John Christian + Mantrastic "Flux"

January 11, 2016 -

Bradley J. Callison

John Christian and Mantrastic have found the perfect balance between imperative beats and a concrete groove. Their collaboration "Flux" drops in like a fierce tornado out of the speakers and onto the dancefloor. While already receiving support from Ummet Ozcan, Quintino, Thomas Gold, Sick Individuals and Blasterjaxx, "Flux" is bound for the club and festival circuit this year. DJ, label leader and top-charting producer, Mantrastic has certainly left the realm of the Israeli music scene and entered the global interface of electronic dance music. Consistently featured on the world’s biggest podcasts, his work isn’t just recognized by fans, but fellow artists as well, as evident in this collaboration. The track provides the listener with some sophistication, ample creativity, and imagination.

John Christian's most recent releases "Brothers" and "Hit ‘M Like This" reached the Beatport Progressive House and Electro House top 100 on #31 and #55. After launching his imprint back in November, John and company have been on a massive tear. Release after release has put Freeway Recordings into the Beatport Top 100's upper echelon. This is the seventh release since November and has 2016 seeming as it is destined to be a monster year for John Christian and Freeway Recordings.
