The beloved Majestic Casual, the renowed Youtube page that brings you an overwhelming amount of down-tempo, melodic, chill-out music, is announcing a new album series, that consists of the best tracks that've come across the new wave music spectrum. Coming on November 10, Majestic will release a compilation album that includes 40 tracks from Ellie Goulding, Flume, Pedestrian, The xx, Goldroom, AlunaGeorge, SBTRKT, Chris Malinchak, Bondax, Disclosure, Nosaj Thing, Friendly Fires, Jessie Ware and more. Here's an excerpt from Majestic themselves:

"Music discovery has traditionally been dominated by DJ culture, a privileged group of individuals with the power to break records, artists and new scenes, and while that dominance still remains, today’s deeply connected digital world has led to the emergence of ‘bedroom tastemakers’, a growing band of YouTube channels and individuals with the power to influence millions. At the forefront is Majestic Casual, part of the elite league of YouTube music channels with over a million subscribers… And counting."

Review: Flume at TLA

Jackson & His Computerband - Vista (Hudson Mohawke Remix)

I remember absolutely digging the style of Hudson Mohawke upon hearing his remix to Disclosure's White Noise. I am now happy to say that September has brought us good fortune with TWO new HudMo tunes. While the first one can be heard on the Grand Theft Auto V Soundtrack, this morning's tune is a remix of "Vista" by Jackson and His Computerband. After a filthy preview, we are graced by the gigantic bass and incredible synths that this track has to offer. With the melodies carefully placed underneath, HudMo clearly brings a majestic and masterful feel to Vista, bringing an unheard sensation to the ears of the remix industry. HudMo continues to amaze me as he rises up the electronic charts into someone worthy seeing live. Enjoy!
