Traditionally one known for his mashups and original mixes in the Trap genre, Party Favor has turned a considerable amount of heads (mine included) with this take on the Big Room. Teaming up with the duo Sex Panther, the LA-based producers set about creating what they believed could be brought to the table in a genre seemingly flooded by redundancy. This is coming from me. If you don't already know, I'm a huge advocate of the Big Room, and even I have been getting a little wary of the repetitive nature of the drops.  However, I would like to point out that "Djarawa" threw me a curve ball [.......]

I'll start this off with the admission that I'm not the biggest fan of the Trap genre.  Granted, it is definitely full of bass, and the undertones will always make for a good old fashioned weird ass time.  Sometimes I guess that I just find it too similar to Hip-Hop.  I definitely don't knock it, though. There truly is a lot of talent out there.  For example, I fully, completely, 100% "it's-a-trap!!!" support this track. Based out of Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, CA, this up-and-comer known as Spol is definitely one to watch, tearing up fully original trap tracks that are guaranteed to get all up in your soul.  And that's not all! The kid has some incredible remixes too (be sure to check out his Dub remix of Tyler the Creator's "Yonkers"). As always, don't just take my word for it. Check it out for yourself!
