Daily Beat Premiere: Dreadhauk "Back It Up"

January 3, 2016 -

Bradley J. Callison

Dreadhauk is kicking off 2016 the same way he ended 2015, with purpose. After two solid releases for the up and comer to cap off 2015, Dreadhauk is showing us some relentlessness at the moment with original material. From "Feed the Monsta" and "Fly" to "Back It Up", Dreadhauk has been working on tracks non stop for the past few months. While finding his sound and perfecting his production abilities, each track is an improvement from the last in their own respects. "Back It Up" features a distinct bass line and nice backing synths. With an underground vibe, Dreadhauk is destined to have a productive 2016. Ever since popping up on my radar back in October I have been anxious to see what he does next, and he hasn't disappointed thus far. A true up and comer in the Los Angeles scene, he shows no indication of slowing down as the anticipation to witness a live set grows. I'm sure in no time at all however, that we will start to see Dreadhuak's name more and more. At such an early stage in his career the sky is the limit and it will be interesting to watch his career grow.
