Zeds Dead- Hot Sauce EP [BUY]

When we were first introduced to UKFDubstep, and Zeds Dead was always coming up on their Youtube channel, we were instant fans. The deep bass mixed with the smooth melodies and lyrics, like in “White Satin,” was a nice new blend. In fact, the hip-hop from their roots that was again incorporated when Omar Linx stepped into the mix, like in “Out for blood,” opened our ears to the fact that hip-hop and dubstep are absolutely amazing together. It was truly a game changer for us. It’s no doubt that DC and Hooks get down at their shows but we're curious to see how they do it with this new EP, “Hot Sauce Party.” Don’t get us wrong; they busted out some bangers on this one, like “Demons” and “Rave,” but “Mr Sub” sounds more like tech house after hours music than the dubstep we’re used to. They’ve also been experimenting with trap sounds but no such luck on this one. We’re also a little shocked that Omar Linx isn’t featured on any of these tracks, since he’s been very present with them lately. One thing we can say is that after straying away from Mad Decent a couple of times, they are back, and we can expect them to rock it at all the block parties this summer!
