Hands down, one of the best performances at Lollapalooza this year was Vic Mensa’s set at the BMI Stage. The Chicago native had the crowd in a dancing frenzy, shoes were flying, and people were jumping higher than Michael Jordan. The Chi-Town rapper, who started out in the Save Money Crew with Chance The Rapper, has been venturing into more electronic vibes that compliment his liquid vocals. This new collaboration, Wimme Nah, with producer Kaytranada rocks vibes that keep the crowd bouncing. The track features rumbling beats, and a high-pass synth that creates hard hitting leads for the rapper’s vocals. Vic Mensa is definitely someone to keep your eye on. Fingers crossed, this won’t be the last collaboration between the two artists.
