TWINKIDS - Overdressed

LA queer pop duo TWINKIDS returns with the release of "Overdressed" — the first single from their forthcoming debut EP, 'Boys Love.' TWINKIDS is made up of Gene Fukui and Matt Young, who met while studying at Oberlin College and the Conservatory of Music. "Overdressed" addresses Gene's relationship:"It's about that pendulum feeling at the beginning of a relationship - knowing he’s the best when you’re with him but then full of doubt when you’re apart," says TWINKIDS.

That comes through in the sultry track, with a glistening intro leading directly into a rollicking and intense four-on-the-floor chorus, TWINKIDS provides a refreshing take on the "unpacking a relationship" theme. The masterful blending of vocals, sparse percussion, and synth leave you wanting more—perfect for a lead single—and leave the door wide open for what the full EP could bring.

'Boys Love' is set for release on August 18, 2017 via Om Records. You can follow TWINKIDS on Facebook, Twitter, and Soundcloud for updates from the duo.
