Ryan Farber

The city of Philadelphia has been bearing witness to a lot of uprising talent in the past months. One of the budding producers that we have had our eyes on is the duo of Steven Fokas & Giuliano Presta, who attest a lot of their track creation to the love of uplifting melodies that sink into darkness. This is a quality that caught my attention, dragging their crowd through a myriad of emotions. The latest of their tracks, a remix of Tritonal's "Now Or Never", captured my attention with the subtle plucks of emotional synths underlying the pure vocals of Phoebe Ryan, followed by a simple yet enrapturing build. When the drop happened, it was all that could be expected from fine-tuned trance. Glitchy rhythm over a rolling bass, complete with well layered risers that kept my heart lifting while not losing the dark qualities that it set out to create. Be sure to snag this download, it is a very intellectual take on the original.
