Today was supposed to be my first day of intense skiing after arriving in the beautiful French Alps today, but instead this afternoon has been one of the most stressful of my life! For the second year in a row myself, and fellow London blogger Sam Owers, made the plunge in attempting to get tickets for Tomorrowland. As I'm sure you would expect with one of the most popular festivals in the world, gaining tickets is a horrifically nail biting experience, where those who gain tickets is based entirely on pure luck rather than sheer organisation!
My younger brother and I, both avid electronic music fans, both logged on at exactly 5pm CET, when the tickets were to be released, to find the site crashing, and neither of us even in a waiting line. By the time we were finally in line practically all of the tickets were sold, and it was only thanks to Sam, back in the UK, managing to get through and secure two, that now Daily Beat will be covering one of the greatest dance festivals in the world! Sadly, my brother was unable to obtain one, but for all you Daily Beat fans, in the same position as him, keep following the blog over the next few months, as we get geared up for the best weekend of our lives, bringing the latest photos, interviews and info straight from the heart of Boom, Belgium! Stay tuned for Tomorrowland's 'special announcement' due on Monday!
