Well, for Australian wonder kid, Throttle A.K.A Robbie Bergen it seems that adage, "You can't have your cake, and eat it too" may have been broken. While you enjoy the image of Throttle's sweet launchpad shaped cake below, just think how much better the leftover pieces taste, because in just 4 short days since his birthday and posting his song and live mashup, "What's that Sound," has racked in over 150K+ views.
Taking a step backwards, let's just ruminate for a moment of that little video that started all the launch pad shenanigans, the 39 song super song, "Pop Culture" by what I believe was a 16 year old Madeon at the time. Since then multiple launch pad videos have been done, but I can say this one is another one for the books. I will say that there are 2 things I know about Youtube videos with launch pads: 1. they will go viral and 2. I will watch them. However, the young Aussie adds something else, he uses both Novation Launchpad AND Launchkey for his 30 songs he mixes in, adding his own piano melodies as well.
