The Exchange 005

February 14, 2014 -

Christopher Lavinio

After a pretty wild snowstorm here in the northeast, I'm happy to bring back another edition of The Weekly Exchange; the top five tunes in electronic music this past week. Now while it is Valentine's Day, we thought we'd present you with some pretty uplifting tunes for those of you going out tonight and need that boost of energy before the hard hitting electro beats take the stage. Enjoy this week's songs featuring Dillon Francis, Vaux & Rivera, Chris Brown and more!

5. One Republic - Counting Stars (Vaux & Rivera Remix)

An incredible production from Philadelphia based duo Vaux & Rivera. Their remix of One Republic's Counting Stars has been getting mega hype over the past couple of weeks, and we couldn't pass on opening up The Exchange with this tune. Enjoy!

4. Chris Brown - Fine China (Royal Refix)

Re-pitching Chris Brown's voice is this Royal Refix to Fine China. The brilliant horn stabs make this an intriguing trap/hip-hop interpretation of Chris Brown's tune. Big ups to the up and comer for a unique take!

3. Adventure Club - Wonder (Pegboard Nerds Remix)

This one comes at you from the dynamic duo Pegboard Nerds and is a remix of 'Wonder', a track by our favorite Canadians, Adventure Club. Really diggin' the smooth build up into those hard hitting electro beats. Definitely add this one to a rage-filled weekend.

2. Mr. Carmack - Fish Stew

Fish Stew is the most recent upload to Mr. Carmack's ever-changing SoundCloud lineup. With heavily dynamic synths that fly to and fro, this is definitely makes that must listen list throughout the weekend.

1. Steve Angello - KNAS (Dillon Francis Remix)

Dillon Francis is giving the world a free remix of Steve Angello‘s “KNAS.” While touring with Angello at Big Day Out Australia, Francis was inspired to throw an edit of KNAS to close out his Triple J Radio Mix.
