If there's a name that are bringing some serious originality around their alias, it's The Two Fake Blondes. Married since 2018, Petey and Hannah Mac had their own blossoming careers going on within the music industry, a romantic sharing of vows on a beautiful Nashville afternoon ended up being a stepping stone to collaborative project that has gained limelight in the industry on multiple levels.

Bursting with creativity via it's extensive 12-track length, Out Of The Darkness, aims to give listeners an adventurous journey through the nature of these two entangles souls.

The intro track sets the mood in an incredible manner, showing off that these two have chops when it comes to writing, production, and the technical side of music making. The intro quickly segues to the title track "Out Of The Darkness," the two tunes laying the groundwork of what the theme/feel is in totality here. Without spoiling too much sonically, you can tell these two worked painstakingly to generate a diverse, extensive experience, track-to-track, that feels like 'them,' without appearing redundant or dull.

Final track "Romans," showcases a bit of their faith, exclaiming spoken word that bring a certain calm to one's being. The track is brave, refreshing, and righteous.

There's plenty of gems to be enjoyed in Out Of The Darkness, a fascinating exposé of a dynamic artist project the scene needs more of.
