Tech my Tech Package #1

Daily Beat Staff

In the past couple of weeks I have found myself sitting down to mix together a collection of techno, tech house, and deep house tracks and then uploading them to Soundcloud. I have been compiling each mix into a set named 'Tech my Tech' and I am currently four mixes down. I have now decided that I'm going to make it into a weekly Daily Beat post. Once a week I will compile a mix of tracks, upload it to Soundcloud and then give you guys a break down of the mix track by track. So here goes the first one.

1. Andrew Savich - Technogenic (Original Mix)

Starting of this weeks mix is Andrew Savich. All the way from Belarus, Russia, Andrew is extremely unknown which can be seen by his very small number of Soundcloud followers. Producing many tech, techno and deep house tracks, Andrew is bursting with talent and by solely having a look over at Beatport this becomes very clear. His production of 'Technogenic' is one of my preferred productions of his and seems to start off this weeks mix very well.

2. Andrew Savich - Jack (Original Mix)

Andrew Savich's 'Jack' follows on from Technogenic with its weird electronic tweeting resounding through the track. Again this is an excellent piece of production by Andrew showing that simplicity can in fact be the most effective form of production in some cases.

3. Andre Salata - We Are Cowboys (Vocal Mix)

From student to teacher, from heart to soul. That is the summary of the path that Andre Salata, the DJ, producer and college lecturer from São Paulo. Die-hard fan of techno and its origins, of its simple complexity in constant evolution, he entered the world of musical production through his own connection to the art’s style. He grew in the area and ended up becoming a lecturer of electronic music production in a respected College in São Paulo.Away from the classroom, André has produced an extensive discography with his retired project called Elemental X as well as with his own name. 'We are Cowboys' is one of these many creations and definitely lives up to expectations.

4. Andre Salata - Tocaia (Original Mix)

Laced with a funky bass-line, house leads, dry percussion and a smooth changing groove, Salata's second production in this mix could not be more perfectly fit to keepyou moving with that repetitive bouncy beat.

5. Dave Rosario - Her Circus Mind (Original Mix)

Dave Rosario's breakthrough track “Her Circus Mind” on Nick Curly’s 8bit 5 Year compilation in 2011, marked his first appearance on the heavyweight German record label. While being the youngest and only American artist on the stacked roster of producers like Audiofly, Nick Curly, Oxia, Hector and more. Dave Rosario's "Her Circus Mind" showed more than impressive success by reaching the #10 spot in Beatport and Juno's top 100 charts. "Her Circus Mind" also sold the most out of both digital and vinyl releases of the 2CD compilation.

6. Rills - Ladies & Gentlemen (Original Mix)

Rills grew up in up in the musical environment of Turin around the end of the 90s. In this city, with deep roots in music, he very quickly became an Xplosiva Dj resident, a very well know music organization in Italy and around Europe. Since then Rills has been constantly grinding out music with his most recent EP going by the name of 'Move' and being on sale since early this year. Incredible talent and definitely someone to watch out for. Some great boppy techno!

7. Submotion Orchestra - Thinking (Mark Knight Remix)

This guy needs no introduction. Owner and founder of legendary label “Toolroom Records“, Mark Knight is constantly releasing the highest quality tracks from the most revered producers in an attempt to show the industry that dance music is leaving its underground roots in attempt to appeal to the masses. Knight’s stunning remix of Submotion Orchestra’s song “Thinking“, is a melodic combination of organic grooves that wraps a deep and seductive vibe around Ruby Wood’s Vocal track to create an audibly beautiful production. This is not one to miss!

Samples from Piemont - Purist (Andhim Remix), David Herrero - Rio Rio (Original Mix), and Hollen - Rump Round (Original Mix) were also used throughout the mix. Enjoy the mix!
