With festival season quickly approaching,  and the anxiety of  choosing which ones to go to growing, let me stop you for a few seconds to high light this gem of a festival that not everyone knows about!  I introduce to you Summer Set Music Festival!  The festival is in its third year of existence, and after the growth from year one to year two I honestly can not even handle the first phase of the year three line up!!  It's not often that you find a solid festival in the upper midwest with such an eclectic line up,  but our incredible friends at Sound In Motion have managed to make a lasting festival for all of us that just suffered this insane winter!

Don't worry about traveling too far, Summer Set Music Festival is only about 45 minutes east of the twin cities, aka it's basically in our back yard! Which also means for all of you travelers, hop on those cheap airline tickets quick, find your self a nice Minnesotan friend (there are a lot of us), grab a ride and we'll see you there!  The festival is set for August 15th-17th this year and is featuring some of the hottest acts like RL Grime, Chance the Rapper, Big Gigantic, School Boy Q and Bassnecter to name a few, but go check out the phase one line up to see the rest of the craziness that's about to happen!

Last years festival was an amazing success, featuring huge artists like Krewella, Zedd, Flosstradamus, SBTRKT, Diplo and Girl Talk (still salty I wasn't able to make it) so you can imagine how HUGE the whole festival is going to be in its third year!

Good news for you, TICKETS ARE STILL ON SALE!!! Also they are insanely cheap, I'm talking $89 for a full three day festival, so there really isn't any reason that I won't be seeing all of you there!
