From his Takeover Tour to the announcement of his Mothership Tour 2014, Skrillex has been blowing up news feeds across the world lately. The most recent and exciting development came just last night. Starting at about 7pm EST, and over the course of 5 hours, a new track was released every 30 minutes via the Alien Ride App that popped up in the app store last week, revealing 11 songs off of his new album, Recess. If you’ve seen one of his shows lately, you’ve definitely heard him drop a few of these bangers. This album is all over the place in the best way possible. You’ve got the common Skrillex face melter, All is Fair in Love and Brostep, the hip-hop vibe of Coast is Clear, the deeper sounds of Fuck That, and chill send-off of Fire Away. They’re now all streaming on Soundcloud thanks to some Canadian, Tom Lube, which you can hear below, as well as pre-order the tracks via iTunes, here. The album is set to release on March 18th. The Alien Ride App still shows that there is a "secret" folder to be unlocked. So now we wait in anticipation.
