The secretive and selective Scasca once again proves quality over quantity with his newest release, “Migrations.” The Saint Petersburg producer’s first single, “Long Distance Call,” dropped a year ago and he had been waiting for just the right time to bring us with a new track. And let’s just say, he did not disappoint.

‘Migrations’ is my second single. If “Long Distance Call” was a kind of lo-fi deconstruction of future garage music, As with the debut, I paid a lot of attention to textures and noises here, whether it’s glowing chimes, the rustling of leaves, or voice messages that sound through the sea waves. The main element of this track is the blurry wordless vocals – It reminds me of the feeling from my childhood, when the short northern summer ends, I watch the migratory birds fly south and stay for the winter.

Scasca

This unique tune blends lofi and future garage into one cohesive sound that soothes the soul. In “Migrations,” Scasca brings in organic soundscapes and sparkly atmospheres that take you to a utopia full of nature. Enchanting chopped-up vocals and electrifying drums take the forefront, giving you an emotion-filled track from start to finish.
