Rutherford House Vol. 19

Rutherford House

Summer is so close and its killing us having to spend so long staring at text books when we want to be in the clubs, but we're nearly there. Recently we've noticed that in the stress of exams we haven't been feeling as inspired by most of the music we've been listening to, perhaps because we can't get excited over it with impending work, or i'm just too tired to get into it in this state. Luckily for you, that means anything posted here has broken through that to still make me want to share it, a more refined compilation then, we hope at least!

Huxley - Body Talk

Massive track here from one of the UK's finest underground house stars Huxley. Featuring his signature hard hitting drums, Body Talk is a deep roller perfectly suitable for a dark intimate room of a club. A luscious piano melody follows before yet again swinging into a no nonsense drop. Big tune

Fenech Soler - Last Forever (Boean Remix)

Found this one in a mix and know very little about the artists involved but it's that bassline hook that catches me.. kind of thing that keeps you on the dancefloor in a dark room somewhere..

Little By Little - Hold On

This one is another bassy cut straight from the UK scene expect to dance from foot to foot

Joy Wellboy - Before the Sunrise ( Dixon Remix )

Voted as Resident Advisor's Top DJ of 2013, Berlin's very own Dixon takes remix duties here of Joy Wellboy's chilled out new tune. The German perfectly compliments each element of this version, with hypnotic deep melodies, soothing vocals and a driving bassline.

De Contrebande & DevelopMENT - Switch Up

https://soundcloud.com/de-contrebande/de-contrebande-development

UK Bassline vibes here. Absolutely huge.. takes a few classic samples with some garage drums and big bass and mixes them all together to make a belter

Jacob B - Not From Detroit EP

Pounding to the core with distorted kicks and industrial design, this EP picks up where his track Rave In A Cave left off to deliver more truly energising music.. these tracks will truly kick off summer when they release on 23rd of June

Fisherman & Hawkins - A Place Called Yesterday

Dutch duo Fisherman & Hawkin deliver with this uplifting and euphoric trance track. Released over a year ago it still sounds crisper than ever. Enjoy

John O'Callaghan - Big Sky (Adam Ellis Remix)

https://soundcloud.com/adamellisdj/bigskyellis

Finally seeing release on Armada after many months of waiting this one has everything i love in Trance, relentless beats, blissful vocals and euphoric melody, another stellar release from Trance's fastest growing artist

Sidney Charles - Wax Digger 88

Forthcoming on Moda Black Vol. 3, this infectious, groovy and powerful production by Berlin's Sidney Charles is a must have.

Maya Jane Coles - Lost In The City

Taken from the Deluxe version of her debut album 'Comfort', this one chuggs through slow and soul searching beats with typical Maya vocals that soothes with an air of melancholy.

High Heels Breaker - Come Easy feat. Sarah Palin (David August Remix)

I only lucked upon this guy after his Boiler Room set popped up in my recommended on Youtube, but what luck it was because i haven't heard such beautiful music in ages! The melodies are subtle yet cut you deep and it grooves along making you have to move. this particular track i think personifies him perfectly, check it out!
