Darius Syrossian, the Leeds based producer hops in with a Free Download for you all! Here's what he had to say:
AS MOST OF YOU GUYS KNOW, I DONT DO THIS FOR MONEY. It has always been a case of i do it cos i love it & if i make money that a bonus. This is a track i made in the summer especially for my essential mix, but afterwards it got snapped up by a big label, i told them, ALL THE MUSIC IS MINE, but the vocal sample i sampled from a really old ghetto track from 15 years ago, you can hear it HERE.
Like I said I ONLY sampled the vocal and used to to make a house track, which is very much my style.
I wanted to clear the sample the proper way and so did the record label in question, as they are a huge label. negotiations with the label & dj assault went back and forth for ages, initially a deal was a agreed but then they came back and wanted to call it a remix, but it is not a remix, as none of the music in the track is from the original, i only used the vocal, and even that was sampled from ANOTHER track that came a few years later, by WHIPLASH called GHETTO TEARS (which some people think is the original, it is not, even whiplash sampled dj assault originally)
So anyway, as this was dragging on & on, i thought, you know what? i don't care about making money from this, just give it away FREE, i have put featuring dj assault in the title as the vocals are from his original
MUSIC IS FOR SHARING! So here you go guys, a free one for you all! PLAY IT, HAMMERIT OUT, ENJOY IT, & ALWAYS REMEMBER! TEAR THE F*CKIN CLUB UP!!!"
