One of New Jersey's most influential tastemakers hits it off this month with a monumental release on Dim Mak Recordings. R3LL discovers new light in the driving kick drum syncopation of the Jersey Club genre by toying with different themes and sounds to create something consistently creative throughout the entirety of Visions.

R3LL's EP begins on a dreamy collaboration with Norway's Autolaser on the track 'Daydream'. The sample heavy jam is carried with smooth RnB chords from an electric piano that are cut with blasting synth chords and a seductive guitar-lick. Melodically this jam feels very fantasy-like, a feel that carries onto the next track, a collaboration with Alizzz called 'Visions'. This one is carried by a deep house bass-pluck lined with a hypnotic atmosphere of samples including the notorious photography snap. R3LL's abilities to infuse elements of trap into his funky-futuristic beats are a plus to this release.
The track 'Down' with Japanese producer Banvox continues to play with a dreamy Wave Racer vibe but incorporates heavy elements of dubstep that slice up the beauty of the vocal piece. The EP ends off on a high-note with the obscure future bass feeling track 'All 2 You' with producer HVNS. This one has just of interesting of a progression going back and fourth between half-time and jersey rhythms.
Overall R3LL curates a tasty 4-track release of forward thinking beats that feel refreshingly new to the classic sounds of Jersey Club. We're looking forward to see where he'll be going off of the heat of this release.
