Today, Daily Beat has an awesome throwback from 2010 for all of our followers to enjoy, Phoenix - 1901 (Robotaki Remix). Manila Killa first debuted the young producers Kanivinsky - Nichtcall (Robotaki Remix) a few weeks ago, where we got the first taste of what he is made of. You may remember this song from car commercials, but more importantly by its original title and entirety, "1901" by the French alternative rock band Phoenix. This song was featured on their fourth studio album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Robotaki starts off with a dreamlike hook, and gives the song the upbeat electro kick to wake you up from that starry eyed dream. Robotaki carries out all the smooth transitions that are originally in the song, and intensifies the spirited and catchy vibe of the feel good lyrics. It's been really nice to see some of these songs from the past get rejuvenated and brought back to the scene. Enjoy!
