The People Under the Stairs, or "The P" for those of you in the know, are out with a new album available for pre-sale on this fine twelfth of February. On their Facebook they broke down the new album as follows:
"Executive produced and mixed by Thes One of People Under The Stairs, DAY's instrumental opus is a stone melancholy work that took years to assemble. Blending live instrumentation and sample based production, 1000 Chances blurs genre lines and strives to simple make beautiful, emotion wrought music. Limited Pressing Vinyl features Leather cover and removable Polaroid!"
Leather cover and removable Polaroid oh my! This album is destined to be solid, no need to supersaturate you all with superlative compliments and gushing romantic descriptions of "vibes" or any crap like that (Aside: I also haven't hear it yet). One really cool thing I would like to point out though is that "the P" are independently run. Gotta respect a group of guys as successful as they are who resisted the cash and convenience of a major label, deciding instead to found their own music collective Piecelock 70. (click here to check it out!) Oh and here are some classics songs to chill on while you wait for your vinyl to arrive, enjoy.
