Passion Pit's newest album, Gossamer, has quite a few great tracks, but one in particular has inspired multiple videos and a Tiësto remix. "Carried Away" officially has two different music videos, and I've posted both the videos for the original and for the Tiësto remix because they're interesting and artistic accompaniments to the songs. They're well worth sharing, and the two versions present an interesting comparison.
The official video, below, tells the story of a dysfunctional relationship that descends quickly into a bizarre cartoon. It stars frontman Michael Angelakos and actress Sophia Bush. It was released this past week, just in time for Valentine's Day.
The second video, which actually was released before the video for the original track, shows Tiësto's influence on the relatively mellow Passion Pit song. The video is literally explosive: it shows various people using a new drug that causes them to explode into multiple clones. Beyond that, it's hard to describe. Check both videos out below!
