Southern California ravers, rejoice! Just last night after midnight on Facebook, the head night owl at Insomniac Pasquale Rotella announced that their longest running festival to date, Nocturnal Wonderland is happening this year, despite the tragic cancelling of Beyond Wonderland due to logistical issues with the San Manuel Amphitheater. It will still be held at San Manuel, but at the cost of lowering capacity for the event. Rotella says the lower capacity will "create a more comfortable experience so that we ensure that everything about the event runs smoothly, even after the music ends." Those that have attended last year's Nocturnal as well as Escape From Wonderland are well aware of how long it took to leave the absolutely packed parking lots after the event. So this will be even better for headliners this year. Did I also mention that it will be a 2 day event this year too? It will be on September 5th and 6th, and camping will more than likely be offered. Just remember to get your tickets quick, since capacity will be substantially lower to keep the folks at the venue happy.
