Paraquet Courts: "Borrowed Time"

There's nothing inherently novel in a four-chord rock tune, but that doesn't stop me from listening to as many as I possibly can, because I like things that replicate the insufferable banality of my daily life. That's why it's cool to happen upon one that doesn't make me feel like I should just give up and become an absolute determinist, philosophically speaking. So, to quench your (and my own) flaming four-chord-desires, I give you a jam that's hanging out somewhere between Echo and the Bunnymen and Jay Reatard: "Borrowed Time" by Paraquet Courts.
