One of the fastest and most innovative rising labels in the industry, Heroic Recordings, has unleashed a genre-bending, cryptic EP from Paradym. Also featuring Fytch, the EP is innovative, dark and mystifying. Ever since I discovered Heroic earlier this year I have kept my eye on the Netherlands based imprint and with talent such as San Holo, Whynnel and Ark Patrol, they have quickly become one of my favorite new labels. With a speciality in experimental bass music, Heroic and Paradym continue to impress listeners and change the game release after release. Each track on the EP serves as a bridge to the next, while maintaining their own individuality and completeness as a whole project. The production quality is top-notch to say the least, with side-chaining featured throughout and influences from drum and bass, future, dubstep and trap. With Heroic and Paradym setting the bar high on this release, it goes to show the standard they have placed on quality and innovation while continuing to rise in the ranks of the music industry.
