I'll start this off with the admission that I'm not the biggest fan of the Trap genre.  Granted, it is definitely full of bass, and the undertones will always make for a good old fashioned weird ass time.  Sometimes I guess that I just find it too similar to Hip-Hop.  I definitely don't knock it, though. There truly is a lot of talent out there.  For example, I fully, completely, 100% "it's-a-trap!!!" support this track. Based out of Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, CA, this up-and-comer known as Spol is definitely one to watch, tearing up fully original trap tracks that are guaranteed to get all up in your soul.  And that's not all! The kid has some incredible remixes too (be sure to check out his Dub remix of Tyler the Creator's "Yonkers"). As always, don't just take my word for it. Check it out for yourself! I'm excited to bring you the newest reboot by Philadelphia duo, Ronin entitled "I'm Alive, Goodbye". Using Matt Brux's calming bootleg of Apparat's song "Goodbye" as a foundation for the song, the two use a progressive house style to build up the mood of the song before laying down the sultry vocals from Krewella's "Alive." It's nice, because this is something different from the remixes and bootlegs we've come to see from Hardwell, Jakob Liedholm and Cash Cash of "Alive" - it's more laid-back.
