The wonder kid,Mat Zo, finally lets us in on what he's been working on since... what feels like forever. After the incredible success with collaborator, Porter Robinson, on "Easy," Zo has been a force to be reckoned with in the dance music industry. His new single, entitled "Pyramid Scheme" is absolutely infectious, while his work overall has quickly risen to new heights in 2013. So now to the big news: Mat Zo has announced his new debut album, entitled Damage Control, set to be released through Anjunabeats and Astralwerks this fall. Check out the statement from Zo below:

Mat Zo is one of those producers that never fails to deliver. Although this remix is more towards the mainstream side of electronic music, I think the way that the London based musician has adapted and become more diverse in terms of his releases compliments his originality and skill. Being one of the leading artists on Above and Beyond's label AnjunaBeats, Mat Zo has received a lot of praise for his collaborations with Porter Robinson, Arty and his recent remix of  Alive by Empire of the Sun. Personally I love the way Mat Zo has recently been producing good, unique and quality music and he is an ambassador in his own way for trance and AnjunaBeats. This remix is something slightly different from Mat Zo. Consisting of big room progressive buildups to transferring into some sections of electro. The remixing quality is definitely there to see and the vocals are perfectly complimented into the song. Definitely a track to listen out for in the remaining summer festivals. Enjoy

We all know Mat Zo's latest dive into the pop culture scene when the fiasco circulating his track with Arty got in the hands of legendary music thief will.i.am. Since then, Mat Zo has been working on his latest track 'Pyramid Scheme' on and off for the past 2 years. The first hearings of this track came in his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix earlier in 2013, but with the sampling of Public Enemy's "Can I Get a Witness," Zo instantly stepped in to collaborate with the vocalist (Chuck D) in what is a massive tune. Set to hit the market on August 13th via Anjunabeats/Astralwerks, Pyramid Scheme incorporates a funky electro sample to make another summer mega hit.
