Capital Cities, the indie pop duo from Los Angeles, released their long anticipated debut album In A Tidal Wave Of Mystery on Tuesday, June 4 on Capitol Records, in partnership with Lazy Hooks. As if OWSLA isn't already populated with some of the greatest producers out there, today they welcome bad boy Rusko to the label. Hailing from Berlin, Egokind has produced yet another eerily addictive track - Worried Head (Egokind Remix) by Valery Gore. I was first turned on to this producer with his fantastic take on the smooth vocals of Julia Stone's This Love (free DL in the link), which is comprised very similarly to this. Both incorporate chopped samples and indiscernable echoes coupled with a guitar that takes the listener for a ride unlike any they could possibly expect. [...]
