BROOKLYN - It was that kind of night last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. With so much to talk about, we figured it would be best to cut right to the chase for this post. Sure, most of the readers of this blog are indeed those late 80s early 90s babies who remember the epic battle for boy band greatness between *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. So just one day before the VMAs came to Brooklyn, we found an interesting Twitter handle appear from the social network. Yes, that's right @NSYNC was created just two days ago with the five fellas tweeting out:

With the rumors floating around last week about the pop-sensation reunion, it was truly the icing on the cake that they would return to the VMA stage to perform a medley of their hits. So we applaud the talented Justin Timberlake for his 15+ minute effort of singing up escalators, changing stages, singing a song a minute, and wowing the crowd with a truly epic performance. As for the future of *NSYNC, we really don't know what comes out of this. Do they reunite and release a comeback album? We really can't say for certain. All we know at this point is that the Twitter handle is 200k strong and growing. It seems like the world wants to see what they can do, but only time will tell.
