Nio's 'Heart Stops,' Hits The Spot With A Future Bass Flair

"Heart Stops," by Nio warms the heart from the very first moments. Blending in live instrumentation, electronic samples, and a vocal as the centerpiece of the track, he shows he knows what how to make it happen in the studio. Guitar plucking starts off the experience as the feminine vocals begin to set in. Piano chords and very light vocal chops soon segue in.

With plenty of hooks built in, your attention is pulled toward the vivid energy playing out through the unique combination that's going down. Before you know it, well-mixed/mastered future bass drops steal the stage, syncing up alongside the vocal work perfectly. The single gives a positive feeling to the listener from start to finish.

Nio is fascinated by the realm of melodic bass, this being the current direction he's taking as an electronic musician. He had a turning point in his life when he was handed a Worlds Apart EP CD many moons ago. The experience of the Seven Lions music seemingly blew his mind, putting him on the path to become the DJ/producer he is today. Nio's been producing for 9 years and credits songs which went on the be signed by Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records, Pitch Control Records, and others. This year, he's been supported by Dancing Astronaut and Run The Trap, another aspect that indicates he knows what he's doing and getting his hands in the right places.
