Netsky - Without You

January 15, 2014 -

Samuel Botero

Netsky, the European Drum n’ Bass powerhouse, released a fresh new track that strays away from his usual D n’ B feel, resulting in a sound that is unique to the Belgian artist. The track features a powerful bass line with vocals reminiscent of a house ballad. However, drums that stray from the usual fast-paced D n’ B beat differentiate this song from his prior releases. The percussion blends into the song and becomes a background that supports the powerful bass line creating an electro-house sound, something relatively new for Netsky. Seeing how he is starting out 2014, I’m excited to hear more new tracks from this Belgian beast. With Netsky’s plans to play at this year’s Coachella and Ultra Music Festivals, it’s possible that his name could become even bigger in the electronic scene here in the US, especially since his fresh new sound embodies the electro-house feel; essential to the current EDM trend here in the states.
