Greek talent Mel Ody is keeping up his pace in 2020, teaming up with US-based regular collaborator Like Lions to release his 4th track of the year, “Living With Ghosts”, via tastemaker label Lacuna. In the single, Mel Ody truly realises his ability to craft an electronic/pop and orchestral combination; a song that is as ominous as it is explosive. 
Electric guitar melodies and captivating atmospheres lay the foundation of “Living With Ghosts”, while Like Lions’ impactful vocals lead nicely into the drop, which explodes into a series of gritty brass stabs and hard-hitting drums. 
“Earlier this year, before the pandemic, there were other global tensions happening that had me looking back at some of the major crises that have been playing out around the world in my lifetime,” revealed Like Lions. “When I sat down to write lyrics for “Living With Ghosts”, the horns and the drums felt like a battle call and I wanted to use that energy and power to try and amplify some of the stories and sentiments about the effects of war and conflict that have been passed onto me by friends who spent time on front lines.”
