This past Friday, Pacha New York turned into a launch pad when the crazed duo, known as Manufactured Superstars lifted the roof! They came dressed to impress in their all too familiar orange astronaut suits and went straight nuts with the crowd. B-rad and Sabotage, represented by their own SouthPark avatars, are known for getting the party started by tossing out the Manufactured Superstars signature inflatable astronauts and branded nerd glasses. With only 20 minutes into their set, the crowd had their astronauts thrown up high bouncing to the beat of each song, and representing the nerd eye wear.
Although there was limited Kandi Kid sightings in the crowd, the duo catered to the energy that was the typical club-goer, laying out such current hits as Martin Solveig’s “The night out,” TJR’S “Ode to Oi” while also banging out some oldies like Lionel Richie’s “All night long.”
The DJ booth where the duo spun was practically engulfed by the ever growing crowd, which is when Sabotage personally handed one of us an astronaut when he saw her singing along to Zedd’s “Spectrum.” The atmosphere Manufactured Superstars created was out of this world, much like the crowd at Electric Daisy Carnival New York City 2012 where we first got a taste. Pretty sure they will be touching down on earth during Electric Daisy 2013 so keep your eyes out for their orange suits and inflatable friends!
