Fresh off his hour long set at the obscure venue of the New York City Stock Exchange, Madeon crashes Pacha’s party along with special guest Jack Beats. This 18-year-old producer was the first ever electronic DJ to spin at the stock exchange and is known for touring with the infamous Lady Gaga. But lets bring it back to Jack Beats. We haven’t seen this UK duo since 2010. They started right off with their classic “Get Down” to let everyone know they had arrived. Their signature sound could be found in several tracks dropped that night- that clean airy bass that literally speaks to you with its voice-like wobble effect such as in the remix "Jack Got Jacked" . And was that some trap we hear? You bet. Since 2007 Niall and Ben of Jack Beats have been experimenting and blending genres from hip hop to dubstep to techno. Their hybrid of sounds was just what this Pacha crowd needed to get hyped for what was up next: Madeon. This is the second time we have seen this kid in less than 2 months and he never disappoints. Opening with his hit “The City,” he had everyone singing along with hands held high. The rest of the night was non stop electro house/pop beats including Zedd "Stache" and Porter Robinson and Mat Zo “Easy,” which we cant seem to go to a show without hearing. That’s definitely not a complaint, though. Everyone loves a little Porter. Once again Pacha has delivered a electronic experience like no other.
