So a moderate dose of nostalgia: the first thing I wrote for Daily Beat was an (admittedly kind of pretentious) review of "Ode to Viceroy" by Mac Demarco, whose new record, 2, is pretty rad. Yesterday, he released the official music video. It features an expected abundance of cigarettes and a bunch of weird camera filters and Demarco looking generally but endearingly haggard.
