M83 - Midnight City (Melt! Festival Germany) [Live]

It's truly incredible how the most simplistic, emotional and dynamic songs make it in today's musical world. However, M83's masterpiece entitled "Midnight City" is on a completely different level. The wide audience it captures and the beautiful dynamics and harmonies make this one of my favorite tracks of our generation. I know this may be an old tune to some (considering how often music gets released in today's dance music world), but this is a song that has an infinite shelf life to me. I was only led to discover one of the most amazing live performances of M83's Midnight City back from 2012 during Melt! Festival in Germany. And of course, after Eric Prydz took this indie-electronica tune and brought it to the forefrtnt of electronic music through his Private Remix, this once glorious track became an anthem and staple to an emotional ending of a live set. Enjoy and may you melt in the dreamy vocals and breathtaking saxophone solo.
