For almost a quarter of a century, Lollapalooza has been one of the world's most highly attended and sought out festivals. What started as a touring music festival in 1991 by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, has become an iconic staple for music festivals in the U.S.
For their 25th anniversary this year, they are pulling out all the stops to bring fans, veterans, and newcomers alike the best that the world has to offer in art, music, and good vibes. With their lineup dropping earlier today, these name has had our whole team's jaws drop in awe. Feast your eyes on its majesty...
Just seeing Radiohead's name at the beginning has already made this festival a must go for us. We can politely skim past the EDM headlining acts (since they will probably be at every other festival) and get to the nitty gritty of the lineup which includes Yeasayer, Danny Brown, Lettuce, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Skepta to name a few. For those attending, we highly encourage you all to take time out of your festival schedule to discover new acts and nurture your taste in music. Because who wants to pay close to $400 just to stand in one spot all day to wait for Hardwell? Four days is a lot of time to expand your musical horizons.
Tickets for this festival are completely sold out, and single day passes were just released today only to be completely gone within the span of 3 hours. Yikes. If you're one of the lucky ones, you are in for the time of your life! Cheers to 25 years of Lollapalooza!
