Loadstar Starts 2016 Strong With New Singles

February 6, 2016 -

There is no disputing that Xample and Lomax, globally known as their duo project Loadstar, have become one of the largest driving forces in the drum and bass movement. The two have been making music together for nearly a decade, and have played out to crowds all over the world. This week, the dnb masters dropped their first official release of 2016.

The new record is a two-track single that demonstrates two opposite ends of the drum and bass spectrum. Lifeline - which was featured by UKF last month - is a liquid tune that showcases emotive vocals of The Six, complimented with a somewhat orchestral instrumentation. Switch, on the other hand, delivers fierce percussion breaks and some extremely massive sound design.

Loadstar have given listeners a broad range of musical styles over the years, but Lifeline and Switch show Loadstar's true mastery over the art of drum and bass.
