It's rare that we get to post two gems from the Montreal beat wizard Kaytranada in the same week. But, with the DJ/producer's new EP coming out this fall on XL Recordings, the bits and pieces are also starting to come together. Entitled So Bad, Kaytranada will include a beautifully crafted tune called "Leave Me Alone," which was recently dropped on his luscious SoundCloud. The song sports a bass-heavy low-end thump, but this arrangement is more about the finer things than banging Kay-beats. There are spacious billows of synth and textual R&B-flavored vocals from the lovely Shay Lia, and the rhythm pauses a couple of times for mellow passages.
