It's been five days since Kaytranada dropped his 19 track compilation of instrumentals, remixes, and B-sides, nonchalantly titled "Whatever". In blogger time that equates to ages, but we would rather marinate on this sampling to give our readers an informed opinion. And the verdict is in: Kaytranada is the best hip-hop producer of 2014. It may not make its way to your radio but a new sound is taking over the Internet, and it can't be long until the buzz reaches a critical mass. His debut EP is due out on XL Recordings this summer and "Whatever" has only stoked the flames until then.
