Jewelz & Scott Sparks - Kingdom (Original Mix)

June 2, 2014 -

Hailing from Germany, big-room house duo Jewelz & Scott Sparks have been on point with making hits lately. Their new track Kingdom, which was just released today on Doorn Records, definitely does not disappoint...or does it? Don't get me wrong, the song sounds great. It has a great intro and chord progression, but something about the drop seems familiar. Almost TOO familiar. Take a listen for yourself and then compare it to this song right here:

Have Jewelz & Sparks taken some notes from W&W's most recent rager? A quick browse through the comments on the SoundCloud post shows that people think that it is, indeed, a copy of Bigfoot. I have already discussed in a recent post how EDM is starting to sound the same, but I did not expect to hear another clone of a well-known song so soon. For a genre that is supposed to continue breaking ground with more time, it seems like the opposite is happening here. Let's hope that we don't hear too many similar sounding songs in the future.
