The boys of HOUSING CORP and NSR have joined forces to create a new, dynamic producer group called Jefferson909. Long time friends and music aficionados Skyler Gross and Noah Sauder-Russo have been working relentlessly for months on their new Jefferson909 project. After much anticipation, they have officially released their first single, There Was A Guy. A wickedly boisterous track complete with viscous bassful tinges and an uber ominous narration. There Was A Guy starts off slow and luring, quickly dropping into a house inspired beat reminiscent of colored nails dropping on an oil slicked metal plate.
To commemorate their first release, Jefferson909 will be giving away two tickets to their Halloween event, "DON'T SLEEP", hosted by the infamous Rinsed and Might Get Weird! The event will be an auditory and visually arousing Brooklyn warehouse production. The lineup includes The Deep featuring Luka Tacon & David Kiss, David Hohme, and of course -- Jefferson909. Also, we can't give specifics, but some VERY special guests from BLACK BUTTER RECORDS (*wink wink*) will be in attendance and playing surprise sets.
Check out Jefferson909's There Was A Guy below. And don't forget to enter the ticket giveaway -- We promise it'll be a show you won't want to miss!
