James Blake Remixes Kendrick Lamar Under Harmonimix Moniker

February 20, 2014 -

James Blake adds to his catalogue of excellent remixes (under his Harmonimix alias) with "m.A.A.d city" the semi-eponymous track from Kendrick Lamar's 2012 juggernaut good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Blake's rewiring is short and sweet, guillotining Kendrick's verses, with purpose: a heavy 16th-note drum 'n' bass & a strikingly harmonic church organ fill any voids. The result is more than palatable.
