Insomniac and Dada Life partner for Crush Arizona {Event Recap}

This past weekend people got ugly, bananas, and all sorts of weird at Crush, Arizona. It was one hell of a show for me, and refreshing to see the scene flourishing with unity in Arizona. As I walked in I was welcomed by a massive tent that some what reminded me of the Circuit Grounds from EDC. As you started to venture deeper towards the stage you could start to see the intricacy of the stage. Four colorful lasers were set up that lit up the night perfectly. I thought the DJ booth was really cool as well because the lights on the outside faced the crowd. Raving outdoors during at night never looked so bright and flashy. From the amazing totems and beautiful people, to the solid line-up accompanied by mesmerizing production this event is one in the books for me.

Insomniac never fails and with this line-up, the time was just superb. I had to make sure I arrived early enough to see Kayzo. I saw him at Hard With Style previously and his set was so unique. At the event he mixed between Hardstyle, House, Hip-Hop, and made sure to give us some mash-up's too. Following that was Party Favor who I haven't had the pleasure to see yet so I was very excited. He is a real DJ in my eyes because I could see that he put a lot of hard work and time into his set. You could hear him messing around and getting creative, and that's what I love. He messed up at one point and just stopped the track and admitted it, and honestly I don't think anyone cared. One of the craziest sets I've heard in a while!

After that was the highly anticipated Slander who just kept the party going. We got to hear some crazy mash-up's, new music, and see what the big hype was about them. Now it was time to switch it up a little and hand the deck's over to Tritonal. I was looking forward to them all weekend and haven't seen them since Nocturnal Wonderland. At that point production was at its peak so it was extremely fluorescent as I expected. I loved the fact the lyrics were displayed on the screen for everyone to sing along to. When everything was pitch black and the lyrics were posted across the screen, you could hear everyone singing, "Let your colors run tonight"... that was one of those moments where you could feel the music which was an unforgettable feeling.

Now it was time to get down with Bro Safari. I really enjoyed his set might I say. I personally don't listen to his stuff, but I really enjoyed his mixing. His song selection was on point so I had a great time listening to him for that hour. Now it was time for the duo we all have been waiting for, Dada Life. Their set was very different from what I have heard them spin before. They played a variety of tracks that were heavy electro sounding. Of course, we had the change of having a wild pillow fight, a countdown til' the balloons dropped, and even danced to some new tunes. I respectively enjoyed all of the artists' sets from this past weekend. If you want to hear Dada Life's set from Saturday, please check out the link below.
