Take a look at the World's first inflatable concert hall the Ark Nova. Created by British sculptor Anish Kapoor and Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, this groundbreaking construct will debut this weekend at the Lucerne Festival in the tsunami-hit town of Matsushima in Japan.

kapoor-2"The structure was made in collaboration with the organizers of the festival and consists of a single skin membrane that is easily inflatable or deflatable, making it a mobile concert venue that can be transported around the country."

While the Ark Nova provides a space for the people of Matsushima to enjoy performances from classical musicians and orchestras, it also shows how the innovations of our age simplify complicated tasks and plans.
