Imad Royal, formerly known as Royal, is an artist hailing from the DMV area now residing in Los Angeles who has shown his knack for chilled out, dreamy pop beats. What stood out to me the most about Imad Royal is that he is not only an amazing producer, but also a skilled singer and songwriter. He showcases his talent on his latest record Troubles. It's not everyday where you come across someone who has the mind to compose such a catchy track with soothing vocals and then come to produce it with brilliant textures that amplify the feelings Imad Royal put in. Troubles is full of mixed emotions and as Imad Royal puts it, "is about being conflicted and always worried about things happening in life, but knowing your friends and loved ones got you."
