Henrix & Adrien Meszi Make Sure You Don't "Forget About Dre"

Henrix has once again distinguished his latest release from the rest of today's pack by delivering an over the top masterpiece of an already classic hip-hop record. For “Forgot About Dre,” Henrix called upon Los Angeles producer Adrien Meszi yet again as the two had previously collaborated on the “Raverz” EP. This rework solidifies their potential together when they combine for some very rare magic as Henrix and Adrien Mezsi deliver this remix of a hip-hop anthem that will not only surprise you, but keep you wanting more. Eminem’s vocals on “Forgot About Dre” come over the speakers and takes us right back to where we were in 2005. Attempting to rework a classic tune such as this one is a bold move for any producer, but Henrix possesses the prowess and discipline to make it a banger on its own terms. For the rework, the two have added deep and drama filled instrumentals and features a glitch-hop beat that not only embodies but also gives a new face to the original track. The blend of hip-hop into EDM takes mad skill and patience, yet Henrix has kept the integrity of the track while also putting on his own bass-heavy imprint. It seems nowadays that most producers want to emulate each other's sounds and styles, while this rework stands on its own and reminds us not to forget about Henrix and Adrien Meszi either.
