It's a gloomy summer day here in Cali, but that doesn't mean your mood has to be the same. Today's selection of music comes from mau5trap artist Enzo Bennet, in the form of a funky summer bootleg. A couple of weeks ago, he released his rendition of Americana singer Halsey's hit "Trouble," and it is great.
The normally acoustic song with piano and vocals now has the dark, sensual, and funky style that is commonly associated with house music. There's just something about soothing female vocals and block chord piano riffs that never goes out of style. I would compare the feeling of this tune with the likes of Robin Schulz's Prayer in C remix, and Felix Jaehn's ever so famous Cheerleader remix.
