Last week, two powerful London vocalists, Conor Maynard, 23, and Sarah Close, 21, released a stunning re imagining of two chart-topping singles, revealing promising talent and poise.
Slowing Drake's Too Good, Maynard opens the intimate one-shot video as Close keeps up with the original track's melody on piano. After a flawless harmony over Maynard's lifting synth line, warped vocals and thumping bass hits at the chorus, Close takes over. Delivering a faultless, high-note heavy solo she transitions seamlessly into Rihanna's Needed Me. The two exchange lines from the track's chorus before Maynard returns to the same drop, perfectly marrying the two hits.
The emotion displayed by these young artists' gestures and facial expression truly sells the remix. Both have incredible talent and passion. Expect much more as neither appear weary of expectations whatsoever.
