Independence Day Weekend is nothing without a little techno. Berlin's legendary HYTE Festival returns to New York City for its third year this weekend, spanning two days from July 2 to July 3, and we're giving you a chance to win two tickets! Its lineup features both internationally and locally renown DJs, such as Apollonia, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Honey Dijon, Loco Dice, Mike Servito, Pan-Pot, and Shahar. Stretching deep into the dawn hours, HYTE will kick off each day at 4PM, with beats pumping until 6AM.

We’re thrilled to bring back HYTE to NYC. From our techno origins in Berlin, we’re bringing the same intensity and passion for techno to all our fans in Brooklyn. This year’s lineup is unsurpassed with Berghain heavy hitters Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann going head to head, plus Hyte stalwarts Chris Liebing and Loco Dice. We’ve made sure to round out both days with some eclectic house, NYC legends and up-and-coming artists that will fully engage the dancefloors from start to finish.
After its beginnings in Berlin, HYTE Festival has boasted a weekly residency at the infamous Ibiza club, Amnesia, for the past three years. Previously, the New York edition of the festival took place on Governors Island - but 2016 calls for an undisclosed, indoor/outdoor location in the heart of Brooklyn.
HYTE NYC is a part of RPM’s Big Week NYC Independence Day Weekend event series, kicking off with Dutch trance legend Armin van Buuren. You can catch the top-ranking DJ on Friday, July 1, at a secret Brooklyn warehouse location. For tickets and further info on RPM's Big Week NYC, please head to bigweeknyc.com.
